Videography and Story Telling Work

California is burning. And at times you’d hope it burn right down to its core so we could start again. The South is rising, and not in the ways you’ve heard before. Here are a few video pieces, I’ve shot of American people trying to make a living in a country that sells them out for shareholders. Their words-hopeful and desperate in a desire for rest and reprieve. There are brilliant people in places the social media algorithm hides from you as tech companies sow societal discord for profits.

The common call from these folks I’ve worked with goes something like this. “My body is broken, my spirit is tired and I can’t find my way here. The media isn’t listening. Yet I try. I lose nothing of me if I tell you my truth and you do not believe me. Will you hear me out? Are you with me or not?”

Since 2018 I have been working as videographer and social media manager for various labor organizations. Since 2022 I have worked for CAUSE(Carolina Amazonians United for solidarity and empowerment), an upstart union at an Amazon Factory in Garner, North Carolina.
